Registration Center

This is your first stop after reading the ASB Beginner's Guide. The Registration Center will allow you to obtain your first four Pokemon that will allow you to engage in all the fun ASB has to offer!
As soon as you've chosen the four Pokemon you want to use, you must then assign them a nickname (if you please, that is) and an ability.
To register your beginning team, use the following form below:
Code:
[Pokemon Nickname]
[Species - Gender]
Ability:
Nicknames: You can choose any nickname for your Pokemon. Although it is not required, it is certainly great to give your own unique Pokemon its own niickname.
The nickname can be anything you would like, as long as it is not offensive or vulgar in any way.
Species: This is what species your Pokemon is. Each starting Pokemon must be in its basic form, or it will not be accepted.
Gender: Very basic. Is your Pokemon a male or a female?
Ability: The ability of your Pokemon that it must have. It can have any ability you'd like, as long as it is one that the Pokemon is able to have. This includes Dream World and hidden abilities.


Basic Rules
- All Pokemon must follow the above provided form. Failure to do so will result in your Pokemon getting rejected.
- If your team ends up getting rejected for any reason, then you will have to repost the corrected form. If you edit the post, you will most likely be ignored.
- Once you get your team accepted, post in the bank with the post by an ASB Offical stating its accepted. As a reward, you will receive $20 to start your ASB journey with.

But wait. What if I evolved one of my Pokemon or obtained a new one?
Well then, all that is explained below:

Obtaining New Pokemon or Evolving Pokemon     


During your time in ASB, you will receive many chances to obtain new Pokemon, or evolve a current one. When you do so, you must post here to get them registered to your account. This isso that users can't claim they own thousands of rare Pokemon without even obtaining them.

You will also have to provide a link to the post accepting your evolution or purchase request.

Abilities     
Whenever you register a new Pokemon here, it is a requirement to assign it an ability. This ability can be any of the ones the Pokemon has access to. Including DW and hidden abilities. This ability will stay with them forever, unless you get it changed for a small fee.  

Often times, the Pokemon's evolved form preserves its previous abilities. If somehow the evolved form is unable to learn that ability, then you have the privilege to assign it a new ability.



Unfortuantely, no Pokemonis able to have Honey Gather, Pickup, Unburden, Klutz, Pickpocket, Unnerve, Harvest or Frisk as an ability. 

Combee's ability will always be Hustle, Phanpy's Sand Veil, and the Gothita family will always have Shadow Tag as an ability.


Alternate Formes     
You have the choice to choose which Wormadam form you want when you register it here, but you can not change it after it evolves.

Rotom is unable to access its alternate formes without the pruchase of a Secret Key from the Evolution Center.

Castform and Cherrim are able to change their formes at any time during a battle if weather is in play.

Darmanitan is unable to change its forme without its special ability.



Other Pokemon with alternate formes not listed above are able to freely change.

Okay, from what I understand I am running my own story a if it were the amine show! I start out with 1 pkmn and embark on my own journey and stuff. Sounds cool from what I understand! Below I will fill out a form for my starter pkmn, but a few questions.... (I know this should be in the support but it seems like it should be with me registration).

-Where does my journey start?
-Are other VR members in my journey?
-Where does this all take place? (the posting)
-Do I have the jist of it down?
-What separates the arena fighting and the journey????

Your journey starts here in the ASB forum. Although this has roleplaying aspects, this is entirely based around battling. All you do in ASB is engage in battling. It is entirely up to the refs to describe your battle and the outcome.

-Where does this all take place? Like I said. ASB is all about battling. The battling takes place in the arenas though, which is the fun part.
You can be battling basically anywhere you want. You can even have a battle a midst a meteor shower in space, or an erupting volcano!
-Do I have the jist of it down?
-What separates the arena fighting and the journey? The whole ASB "journey" is all about battling. The only way you really interact with other members is through battling.

Sorry, tp. Your form is incorrect. Pokemon must be in their most basic form.

As for you, Ala, you're accepted! Go and register your Bank account, and then you're ready to start.

No. Levels don't exact in ASB. The only in-game battle stats that are actually a key component are HP and Speed. You'll find out more about that soon.
