For clarification, once me and the person I challenge are ready we just get a ref and battle? That sounds right...

Could we have perhaps a story to be in the league. It doesnt have to be the main thing of the league. But people could eneter it and partake in the event.

I enjoy the idea of choosing to write a fanfict of YOUR OWN adventure.. and for future thoughts there could be a thread for merging adventures. (\^.^/)

Few Questions:
Where do you get the moving sprites of the pokemon?
Do you make up the stages when you challenge someone?
How do you determine who goes first in a match?
How much money do you get for winning and losing a battle?
Is there a limit to how many moves a pokemon can use in battle? (also, are the moves it uses permanent for every battle?)

The begginers guide has the answer to A LOT of those questions

I have a few questions.
1. Why is the currency dollars ($)? Shouldn't it be Poke, or PokeDollars? Or even something like Euros or Pounds?
2. With the Bank and money, where do you ask for money (For example, your starting money.)
3. Is there gonna be an area similar to the PC in the games? If not, would we be able to have parties of over 6 pokemon?
4. I don't understand the 'Ref Test'. What exactly are you suppost to DO?
5. Why the heck do we have to pay to evolve pokemon?
6. Would we able to obtain pokemon in the wild, at some point?

There probably won't. A gym league for ASB would be hard to maintain and get referees for.

That's another thing we will have to wait for until we grow bigger.
I am neutral towards the idea though. It's a great idea, but will require a lot of work to get it running.

Is there any way to get Shiny pokemon? I know it has no effect on the battles, but I think later I want to be a collector, someone who gets pokemon and trades for money or just gets a lot of pokeon he/she likes for the heck of it

i have 2 suggestions

1.how about a trading center?there a trainer can trade a pokemon that he doesn't need it anymore with someone else that wants that pokemon.(trade between people)

2.and how about a breeding center?there you can breed your own pokemon(or with somebody's else pokemon).if it's possible to breed those pokemon.but this shouldn't be free.we should pay a small fee.

You said in the Basic Guide that there will be an ability center so when will it be up?

Nope.

What about when you don't want a Pokemon you have can there be some kind of way to sell it for less then it is actual sell for, so you can get money for it but it is not the standard adopting price.

Also what about a thread that you are temp. leaving and want to make sure you don't get DQ.

What about secret codes once a month and secretly hidden in the ASB for a special Pokemon.

Now, I need specifics for dual-turn moves. I don't wanna get stuck on a person who uses Dive. Pretty please?

With moves like that, you can choose to do the traditional format.
i.e.
Dive under, then jump back up.

Or issue an attack on the second turn.
i.e.
Dive, then get out and use Water Gun.

So what exactly does my adoption pass do (from the scavenger hunt)

1.
Three action in a round, instead of two, with a maximum of two extra conditionals (ie move/move/move~move/move/move~move/move/move)

2.
Money for evolution?
Easy solution with EXP:
Each Pokemon gain one EXP for participating in battle, and an extra for each opponent they manage to knock out
Each species of Pokemon has a set amount of EXP needed to evolve (I'm not sure what the formula for this is- I'll ask Negrek)

3.
A Birthday Thread, where people can others money, Pokemon, and items on their birthday.

4.
A smoother system of grouping Pokemon together, with every Pokemon in each tier costing the same amount, based on how rare each Pokemon is (for example, things like Caterpie, Sentret, and Starly would be first tier, costing the least, while starters and fossils would be, the final tier, costing the most)

Well I like it, but all those suggestions are exactly from TCoD's ASB. I'd rather keep the system as is and not copy them.

thinking we should test out a tournament sorta thing. Currently there is no way for there to be an ASB champion or anything. If we have 8 we could try out a knockout branched tournament and see how it goes. Should be worth a try and provide direction

Now, before I even set up a tourney, you guys have to realize that this will be a dedicated and strict process.
Dedicated meaning that we will need Referees who can stick to reffing in a 2 - 3 day time limit, and strict meaning battlers must post their moves in 2 - 3 days or be doisqualified.

e: We'll also, more than liekly, have to hault any current battles to let it run smooooooooooooothly

If I get a Smeargle can I use any move? I mean... Can i just use His one move that he learns or what???

I have an question if the Safari doesn't happen, can I get refund all the money I spent for the Great Balls since they won't have a point if it doesn't happen.

This is a bit of a logic question that I've kinda thought about.
While a Pokemon is sleeping (using Rest or otherwise), shouldn't it recover some energy because it's, well, sleeping? It only makes sense that a Pokemon sleeping is recovering a little bit of energy while doing so. Of course, it wouldn't be recovering energy under special conditions (such as Nightmare or weather).

Quad's brought up a good point. For every turn a pokemon is asleep, it's energy will be restored by 5 points.

Okay, well I'm sorry if this has already been touched, but I still don't quite understand the starter pokemon. We just pick any 4 1st stage pokemon or what?

I think that's in the Beginner's guide, but yes. However, no legendaries, Dunsparce, or Spinda.

mmk, thanks. I couldn't find it, but my guess is I just overlooked it.

They're not banned, they just can't be acquired through the starting 4 Pokemon you pick. The reason for not being able to obtain Dunsparce or Spinda is because their massive movepool which can decimate opponents easily, due to stats of Pokemon playing hardly any role in battles.

As you can see, Omega evolved. Do I need to edit my team over there in Registration?
