I think I speak for a lot of us when I say this: A lot of MPC original compositions NEED to be in Guitar Hero.

As we all know that it'll never happen, I have a request to Frets on Fire users with free time: Make public Frets On Fire charts with original Mario Paint compositions.

I would prefer it if it had 3 playable tracks, (Guitar, Drums, and Bass, with an optional Vocals track for those with microphones (only in songs with lyrics)) each charted after the original MPC transcriptions.

If more than one instrument that has a common a track is present at a time:

Guitar: Use the least repetitive. (Boost volume, if necessary.)
Bass: Use the loudest.
Drums: Put them all simultaneously.
Vocals: Use the highest harmony.

If any songs fade out, create a new ending, same SoundFont, same key. (unless you want to do the ending transposing like in those songs from the 50's.) Make sure to reproduce the fading outro without the fade, then build on it after the song completely fades.

EDIT: Supporters of this idea can post their own ideas for MPC Hero songs, just no re-using composers that appeared in the main setlist already, and no requesting covers of existing songs.

Undecided. The idea looks good on paper, but actually pulling it off is going to be really hard. Why don't you take this to one of the bigger indie game developers and see if they can take on this idea?

How about having the chart split in 4, so they're all charted separately (There would be a Misc. chart as well)? That way you don't have to worry about which instrument plays what, they play what's charted in their part.

@Ningamer: That is a given. Not necessarily the Misc. chart, but obviously everything would be charted seperately.

Question: Why is it that you can't do fading endings?
