Because of my burning desire to tell people how I did on tests, and my burning curiosity to find out about others, I just wanted to throw a post for it out there. If you've taken an AP test this year and would like to talk about how it went, put it here.

Non-APers FYI

If you don't know what these score mean, here's a little info-- these exams are taken at the end of a school year to test how well the material is known, with the reward of college credit, which means you can a lot of the time skip a semester class of the subject tested on. Very little information on the results of the test is disclosed. In fact, all most people get is one of these numbers for a score...

1- Unqualified, No recommendation for college credit

2- Possibly Qualified, but very low chance of recommendation

3- Qualified, slightly limited recommendation

4- Very qualified, strong recommendation

5- Extremely qualified, very strong recommendation

Not all colleges accept these tests, but taking them and passing (3 or better) gives a lot of experience and a sense of accomplishment

I took 4 tests this year. I expected to pass 2 of them. I passed 2 of them. Yay.

Biology: 2-

This is actually better than I expected. I took the test for free as part of an experiment by our V. Principal, to see if Honors Anatomy students could pass this test with little to no Official AP test preparation. The other two "subjects" in this test also recieved 2s, which says that if this were to work, more preparation is necessary. Fair enough.

English Language and Composition: 4-

This is what I have been striving for the whole year! In practice tests throughout the class, I had been getting 3s, which was okay, but I just wasn't satisfied.

Music Theory: 2-

UGH! I really thought I could pass this one, but there's a reason it didn't turn out as hoped.
Non-Aural Subscore: 1- I didn't study enough, clearly. On the other hand--
Aural Subscore: 5- Apparently, I have a superior ear for music. It just wasn't enough to get me to pass the test though...

Statistics: 5-

It HAD to happen. I was just NOT going to accept anything less than this. The year throughout definitely had me doubting, but the by the test, I was ready and pumped for this, and darn it all, I was going to make it work.

I got a 2 on my World History test, that was expected. Didn't study much and I did terrible on essays all year, so I'm actually proud with this. Not to mention that Social Studies is my worst subject. U.S. history is next year, so maybe I can get a 3 on that one.

I only took one: AP Calculus AB, but I got a 5 on it. Yay. I wish it was harder, it was such an anticlimactic end to that epic class with that epic teacher.

You SHOULD be proud of that 2! Last year, I got a freaking 1 on that test. Along with literally 90% of my class.

First AP test I took was AP stats. I got a 2. Ick. Even studying didn't help out since I was really nervous at the day of the test.

I only took one AP class this year: AP English Lang and Comp.

I didn't take the test because I got a 1 on the mock exam. Though I did end up with a B in the class...
