You all have probably have heard about Google Plus. It's basically Facebook with some nice new features. I won't get into that, but they are in their beta stages and it is possible to access it through invites of people who already have access.

Until someone can get us access, this thread will be a discussion about it. What are your thoughts on Google+?

I would consider replacing Facebook, if someone can send me (us) some Google+ invites.
Just like I replaced MySpace with Facebook years back.

Edit:
I've recently recieved an invitation from a friend, but sadly Google+ won't accept more people... Bummer.

From what I've seen of Google+, it looks way better than FB. I'm definitely gonna join it as soon as I get the chance.

On-topic: When I joined FB, I quickly got bored, and there are already loads of social networking sites out there... like FB. I think no.

^ This pretty much sums up my opinion. No thanks. It's just another social network full of gossip and tripe.

Pardon the double post, though it is relevant, but one thing I do find rather compelling about Google+ now that I've been able to try it out is that the privacy controls are 10× simpler than Facebook's, but still very fine-grained when you want them to be. Moreover, unlike Google Buzz, it really has very unintrusive defaults. In ways, all the flak they got as a result of Buzz is greatly helping Google+.

I would maybe get into it, but since I already have a Facebook, I probably won't for a while.. I just don't feel like having to get used to a WHOLE new interface and new options and all that jazz.

I don't like google+ already. Freeze gave me an invite to it, but I can't access it because when my brother set up my account (I was 12 or something like that) he used my real birthday.

Google is already a popular site. I am not one of those facebooky people.
But dupilcation facebook is more like infection. Eventually its the only type of site out their-_-. I don't think I'll join

Interestingly, you can create a new account, login, then copy+paste the link in the email - at least, that's what I did

Also, Google+ isn't really a FB copy -- it throws in a bit of Twitter too

Lemme see here...Well the owner of the internet would be the creater of the interne, like cat is the creator of the site, making him the owner. However, if mulitple people helped, they would be considered the owners.
So the owners of the internet are listed here http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch001016.htm You do have a point on the cyber bullying, gossip part. This site Isn't much of a gossip place because somone clears it up eventualy. Cyber bullying isn't much of a problem here because you will have somone defend you.

At the moment, no kids allowed. Personally, I deplore the victims of cyber bullying almost as much as the people doing it - however, my logic is admittedly flaws, but meh. Frankly, if anyone's to blame, its God for making humans with so many damn emotions (disclaimer: I'm atheist, possibly trolling, and definitely off-topic).

G+ is pretty cool- whether it will challenge fb for dominance is questionable though
