From June 17th until July 7th of this year, McDonald's will be giving away Pokémon figurines, each with a Pokémon TCG Card, in their Happy Meals.

I think I got a Diamond and Pearl Turtwig and Chimchar model thing at McDonald's, or was it Burger king, well, I think it was McDonald's. I know it isn't the first cross-over though.

Aside from that, I bet they're gonna be rude and not give out the legendary pokemon figures and cards D:

I find it cool that they are do something cool like Pokemon instead of My Little Pony or Hot Wheels.

I've always had an irrational hate for McDonald's due to their marketing strategies, poor food quality, and various other factors, so when I first heard about this, I said to myself, "Damn, now I have to go back to my dark days of McDonald's."
I hate how they market all the popular Pokémon (Reshiram and Zekrom, Pikachu, Zorua and Zoroark, the starters) and leave really good and innovative Pokémon like Excadrill and Ferrothorn in the dust.
But, I suppose there's cards to collect, so they'll garner my attention for more than 8 trips.

I picked up the Reshiram and Pikachu toys today. Kind of a funny incident happened, though. I paid for two toys, but I received four. The cashier handed me them almost immediately, and there were another two in the bag with my food: a total of two Reshiram and two Pikachu.

So basically all you get is a figurine and a card from the Black/White booster pack?

Might be worth it for the figurine, but I already have most of the B/W cards already so the card would be kinda useless.

I'm not crazy about McDonalds but I'll go just for the figurines just like I did when Burger King did the same thing for the TCG stuff. Went there today for the 1st time during this promotion and got Zoroark, though by the end of the promotion I really hope to acquire a Zekrom and Reshiram, I have no use for any of the cards they give away for actual TCG play but if I end up with all the cards then they'll be nice to add to my binder I suppose since they are all shiny and what not.

To be completely honest, I'm not a big fan of Pokémon merchandise. My only interest is in the Pokémon games, so I don't really care about things like figurines.

My friend went to McDonalds and said they had these toys, so he gave it to me, lol.
It was a Zoroark.

I got them all. It took a while but I did it. I only didn't get all the cards.

I got Zekrom yesturday with a Oshawott card. I`m going back later to try to get Reshiram.

Usually these promotions work where they stock one-fourth of the toys each week, changing on Sunday. I think it might vary by region which ones they have in stock for which weeks.

... I have all of the original Pokémon toys and promotional items from Burger King when the first movie came out... That seemed like so long ago...

I'll have to go find it, but I have the Mewtwo gold plate with the Pokéball display case, on top of dozens of copies of certain toys. ._. I honestly don't remember fast food places promoting Pokémon after that... >_>

Have we seen what kind of cards they are, or are they from the booster sets? Also, the toys aren't very important to me, considering the COOLEST FIGURINE POKEMON HAS TO OFFER IS MINE AND IS CURRENTLY GUARDING MY ALTAR. D:<

I have 6 Snivy figurines, 3 Pikachu, and everything except I am missing 3. I honestly not into card games, I just like to collect Pokémon merchandise.

Well a friend of mine had 2 Reshirams so he gave me 1 and now I have both B&W Legendary Pokemon! All I want now are the starters!

I got a zoura and a zoroark. Makes me fell importent to have those two

I only needed Reshiram to finish the set, but then it ended.
Well crap, that was a waste of my money and effort.

I only have four of them, and one duplicate. Guess I can try snagging the whole set off eBay before prices shoot up.
