I'm trying to connect my Xbox 360 to Xbox LIVE, but the problem I'm having is that, well, it won't connect. I'm using the newer Wi-Fi compatible version. Also of note is that I tried both wireless and wired networks, the wireless one having to go through a firewall, which, the console being from Microsoft, inevitably won't work. The wired setup is apparently not finished at the moment, as it involves a router now instead of just a cable, so that would likely be the problem with that.

More info is needed. I was able to get my wi-fi 360 to connect through the firewalled wi-fi network I have at my house with WEP security without a hitch. Could it be that you're inputing the wrong security type during setup?

I don't think it asked me for that; only the network password; and apparently the Blu-Ray player is plugged into the same router as the Xbox, and that works. Also, it can connect to the network just fine with both setups, but fails when it tries to get to the Internet.
