Yes, you will gain 4 more EVs in a certain stat once you fought a Pokemon that give the same EVs. Ex: Attach a Power Weight to a Pokemon and fight a Audino you will gain 6 HP EVs (4 Weight + 2 Audino). e.g. - Power Bracer, vs Herdier. When I win the battle, do I get 6 Attack EV's (4 Bracer + 2 Herdier) or just 4? You will get 6 Attack EVs. A Lillipup would give 5 Attack EVs (4 Bracer + 1 Lillipup). A Stoutland would give 7 Attack EVs (4 Bracer + 3 Stoutland). and Scenario: I have a Level one Pokemon that battles against a level 30 Pokemon that yields 2 Attack EVs. It levels up till level 17. In the end, do I only get 2 Attack EVs, or 2 x 16 (from the 16 level ups). You would only get 2 Attack EVs. The leveling up part doesn't deal with the EVs so you will gain the normal amount. |
