The Pokémon of the Month for April 2011 is Kyurem. This Pokémon, an ice-type legend, represents blizzards and snow storms. At the end of all the snow is a fresh new spring, which happens in April.

Ice/Dragon... seems like an oxymoron to me, otherwise I guess it's a good choice I HATE THE SNOW... at the moment.

It's interesting to see Kyurem as the Pokémon of the Month; Kyurem is not really in the 'spotlight' right now among fans due to the popularity of Reshiram and Zekrom. I think this will change once the third title gets released, though.

My question is, Why is it called the boundary pokemon? Doesn't make much sense to me.

I find it quite an interesting Pokémon, but its look is less appealing than its counterparts, so it is a drawback.

I find Kyurem to be my favorite of the trio.

Kyurem represents the lack of yin and yang, which is a boundary of Taoism so to speak

Hm, then Kyurem must be the perfect choice because half the US is still having snow storms.

I'd kill to have snow... I'm stuck here in always hot always humid (a lovely 83%, topped with a nice 34 degrees celcius to boot) Singapore.

Anyway on topic.. does it's typing make Kyurem only weak to dragon?

I love how just as the games change to winter the weather in this area becomes really nice and sunny. 'Course, when it comes to June the games will be in summer and we'll be in "summer", but knowing Britain it'll be raining buckets. Like literally. Heavy, steel buckets will be falling from the sky. Or something.

It is weak to fighting, rock, dragon and steel.

LOL, raining steel buckets, just miss each one for me, please I don't want my friend to be hurt any.

Yeah, since this month is all about winter, I think Kyurem is an ideal choice for the PotM thing.

This. Europe is so out of sync. By the way, because Kyurem is Ice type, how can it be weak to dragon?

It is partially dragon, and although ice is super effective against dragon, it doesn't resist dragon moves.

I have a feeling this Pokemon will be the mascot Pokemon for the 3rd title of black and white.

It is not a feeling. Most, if not all the fans, already predict this will be the new mascot.
