The complete list of official names has been confirmed through a data leak from early releases of Pokémon Black and White. All 156 of the English names of the new Pokémon can be found below. The names are accompanied by their Unova Pokédex number, National Pokédex number, and Japanese name for reference.

A nice list, revising this list tonight. Some of the names to crack me up. Got to love them though, think Mandibuzz might be my new favourite. Thanks for the post.

They already got posted somewhere else on the forums earlier, but I guess this thread can be regarded as a confirmation.

Anyways, there are some really weird names in this list (case in point: Throh, Sawk, Unfezant, etc) but I'm sure I'll get used to them as time goes by.

I wasn't specifically talking about their meanings, but rather about the way they sound. Also, calling a Pokémon something like "Punch" or "Kick" seems a little uncreative to me, but as I said, those are minor issues which I'll not pay attention to once I get my Black game.

Personally, I think Throh and Sawk should have been named Rawkem and Sawkem.

Also, is it confirmed that Meloetta is keeping her name?

Nothing has been confirmed yet, since the last 3 Pokémon aren't officially announced by the Japanese yet.

Actually, Spirit, confirming the North American names of the event Pokémon would be a pretty simple task. Arceus and the like, as well as these Pokémon were originally "revealed" to the internet through hacking of the game's internal data, since, despite not technically "existing", there is data present for them in the Pokédex and else where.
An even easier way to do it would to just use an Action Replay to have an instantly complete Pokédex, and go to the last three and check their names.
