Is anyone going to any of the launch events that Nintendo/Game Freak is holding? I'm going to the Nintendo World Store pre-release launch on Saturday :3

To answer your question, I'm not going to any special launch events. Getting Pokémon Black in itself is a great excitement for me, so there's no need.

This Saturday from 10 to 12 there's going to be a midnight release party at the GameStop by my house for B/W where they'll have DS stations set up with the games along with the showing of the first few episodes of new season of the series.
It should be pretty fun to hang out with some people who love the games as much as I do, besides if I can get the game a day before it's released at ten I'll be a happy camper!

There's a GAME store up in London holding a pre-launch event tomorrow with Junichi Masuda and Ken Sugimori, but it's invite-only... I'm doing all I can to get one of those invites!

I'm getting it at 3 pm the day prior, so that's cool :3

I already canceled my preorder at GameStop for this.

@Nin: If you get an invite for the GAME event, I will be forever envious of you until I forget about it two weeks later.
