Hello everyone! Pokemon Black and White will be released in the United States in about a month now (earlier for the Europeans!) and I thought it would be cool to have a forum-wide method of showing excitement for the games!

All you have to do is change your avatar to a sprite of one of your favorite Pokemon introduced in Black and White! Other shots of a new Pokemon are all right too, I guess, but if everyone were to use the in-game sprites then it would be easier to recognize who is participating!

If you need a quick place to see all of the new Pokemon and have easy access to their sprites, THIS link is one of your best options!


The main goal of this is just to see how many people we can get to participate in this until Black and White arrive to the U.S!

It's early for to waiting for the Black and White games to come out, but there's no harm for being part of it. Also I need to change my avatar. Kirby spinning a lightsword around would get tiring. Anyway I chose this pokemon because it's the prettiest Grass Pokemon I ever saw and one of my favorite.

Changed it to an Aaken Pillow Shade. Regular sprite looked too boring. =p

I'm gonna use Victini (Second favorite Legendary of all time), despite losing my epic thumbs-up avatar. Well, by the time Black and White come out, I'm probably gonna have an even more epic Flipnote avatar drawn anyway.

Okay, I did it.
But when the game comes out, I'm going back to Palkia.

I really don't want to change it...maybe when I do my next month's avatar, I'll include the B/W sprite.

Oh, crud. That means I have to change my February Pokemon of the Month for next month... X.X

Well, choosing what to put as my avatar was tough for two reasons:

1) There were several Pokémon to choose from.
2) I was down to two legendaries(Reshiram and Kerudio), but I don't like people assuming I'm a noob just for choosing a legendary Pokémon. =/

Anyways, I decided to ignore that and pick Reshiram over Kerudio because it 'fills' my avatar better. It also looks slightly cooler, in my opinion.

Alright, I'll change mine to Emongla.(I call it Emongla! )

Nah, I'm not participating in this little game of yours, but I do like what you guys are doing so good luck trying to get as many as you can.

Eh...why not? Excadrill is my favorite Gen V Pokemon. But the old Excadrill avatar I had looked so good, but I'll keep this one till March 6.
