The Nintendo 3DS' European release date was finally announced earlier today at the Preview Event in Amsterdam! The 3DS will be arriving in Europe an March 25th, two days before it's American Launch. No price has been announced yet, but retailer HMV has it priced at £229.99.
It has also been announced that:
- There will be at least 25 games for the 3DS by the end of the launch period.
- Aardman (Creator of Wallace and Gromit and Shaun the Sheep) will release a selection of exclusive 3D Shaun the Sheep shorts for the 3DS.
- The system will come in two colours at launch (Aqua Blue and Cosmos Black)
- You will only have a single friend code per 3DS, instead of one per game.
- Nintendo have made a deal with Eurosport to provide 3D sports videos to the handheld in Europe.
- And quite a lot more that I can't remember.
