This is why I do a lot of missions ahead. Of course, I never made it to dark crater, but here's my PMD rules:
- Hoard everything, sell nothing unless it is useless.
- Do higher missions, and as many as you can in one dungeon. This is what the storage is for, use it,
- Wondermail Generator; reviver seeds, reviver seeds errywhere
- Sit on the last floor of a dungeon and "camp" (guard the stairs as if it were your life) next to the stairs with as many teammates allowed. Keep fighting until the wind starts to stir. (After a while in the dungeon it'll sweep you out, be careful) Cheap leveling. In Blue Rescue team I took the first boss, Skarmory, out in two hits.
- Spend all of your poke on friend areas, thus widening your team
oppourtunities.
- #3, except do it in a dungeon with around 10+ floors, make all reviver seeds and poke, rescue the Pokemon and get poke fast. The number of poke seems to be determined by random. The password entering can get repetative.
- SOS Mail generators. Rescue yourself. However these have since been hard to find across the web, but if you have the T/D/S games, use Wi-Fi. Otherwise, I have offline HTML documents that are essentially archives for the SOS & Wondermail Generators. They vary by game, but since the main site that hosted it, upokecenter.com, is no longer owned, they are hard to find. As of now I only have Red & Blue SoS and Wondermail generators.
- Change Pokemon's IQ's and Tactics. If you have exclusive move user on, it will only rely on the selected moves- those are the moves with stars by them. If not on, it will vary from moves to normal attacks, and various item uses. Feeding gummi's appropriate to their type will help further their IQ's and (widen tactics?) This is extremely useful for boss battles!
- Simply plan ahead.
Also, it's on Time/Darkness/Sky. Dark Crater, that is, my tactics are pretty universal.
