It's been bugging me forever that if Mario and Luigi ever had a mother and father. In the conclusion of Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, we see just feet. Feet. Seriously? It reminds me of Rugrats. Brings me to wonder if they ever did have a mother and father, or if they were raised by Toadstool himself, as shown in Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time, which leads me to believe the past setting in Partners in Time is set directly after the events of Yoshi's Island and before Super Mario World for the SNES. (And Kamek mentions that early in the game, that she failed in doing so.)

One: His Name is Toadsworth, not Toadstool.

and Two: Kamek is a guy.

Yeah I'm also kind of at loss for what should be discussed here, since we've gotten just about nothing besides this in terms of information regarding Mario's parents. .-.

The Mario cartoon and the real live movie don't follow the game. It's pretty much a spin-off and I think Mario and Luigi are orphans since they were delivered by storks.

I noticed it and it caught my attention aswell. However, the idea was never expanded upon, I'm not sure it ever will. But hints like these may just pop up from time to time for the heck of it. Btw Bowser final battle music rocked! >O

maybe Mario and Luigi were born on two eggs in the middle of nowhere, like Arceus, so they were cursed to be babies,when they maked the game super mario bros. and the curse was dissolved
