Y HELO THAR

Well, after weeks of thinking about it, I've finally come up with a new configuration for a new gaming computer. It's supposed to be a Windows 7/OS X hybrid, and I've meticulously read through the comments on all of these hardware components (Newegg) and cross-verified every piece of hardware through either the manufacturer's website or the credible Hackintosh websites for OS X compatibility. I think it's good.

I'm going to purchase it in two phases; the first phase hopefully will be later today or tomorrow and will include the more expensive items that happen to be on sale/have rebates. The second phase will hopefully be carried out later this week or next week, depending on when I can get $200+ by selling some of my old electronics.

Spoiler Alert:
First Phase
GPU:
EVGA GeForce GTX SE 460 - $160 w/ $20 rebate

* I couldn't find a PCIe card that either worked in OS X or was reasonably priced, and this was one of the best-rated with confirmed OS X support, so...

What do you guys think?

I'm not too knowledgeable about computers, but the concept sounds good.

Just so you know, Hackintosh computers are illegal last time I checked.

Rest of the computer is good but you should get at least a GTX 470.

The EULA states that it can only be installed on an Apple-labeled computer. I'm just going to stick an Apple sticker on the side. It's really more of a gray area than anything, though, and I'm still supporting Apple because I bought another copy of their OS just for this computer.

And the 470 was too much money for my already strained budget (I already ordered the entire thing!).

Im not up to date with graphics cards, but I suggest the Cooler Master CM690 or the HAF for your case.

Oor if money isnt an object, get the Silverstone Raven.

Well if anyone really cares I'm going to be doing a YouTube video series for this. At this point, all I have is the case, but I've already put up an unboxing video for it and I'm probably going to do the same with everything else. Likewise, I'll also put up videos for the building phase and the OS installation phase of the computer.
