We will have 20 members or more to compete. They will face eachother until the top 2 meet during the tourney.
UnfortunatelyI will not be competing although I will be the person who updates events and results.

Why are some normal non ubers banned. You forgot Paikia, Salmence, Garchomp, Diagla, Girtina, Shaymin S, Darkrai, and Whynaut.

You should set because 20 people may take a month or two. r u battling too.

Skarmory, Metagross, Blissey, and Tyranitar are definitely NOT Ubers. They are in no sense of the word. Where did you get this list? Skarmory but not Palkia? Tyranitar but not Salamence?

Also, the way you phrased the OHKO and Evasion Clauses essentially means nothing, since people can just use the moves anyway and easily win. As harsh as it may sound, I feel that it would be wiser to just make things more clear and not odd things such as how they will be frowned upon.

EARLY START
Due to hotblazes idea of mentioning that this tournament will take a longer period of time to get atleast 20 people to sign up,I've made the officially battle list.
This is how it works. If you see the first post of this tournament you will see the number you are in. I will draw the numbers from my hat(Yes I've written them down on pieces of paper )and the two numbers that are chosen will face eachother. If more users start signing up during the battles,it's ok.

If you read carefully above that list I just said don't whine about them being too strong,they are NOT ubers.
They won't use the moves,if they do they're newbs and a joke to competitive battling.

You can use it if you want. I can edit it as the battles are done. Also, you need to change the amount of participents to 16 instead of 20 because the bracket doesnt work with 20 people.

I`ll join if we`re allowed to participate via Pokemon Online, though I somehow get the feeling we`re not.....

Hmm... looking at your rules, I would suggest you remove Freeze Clause because there are no moves that induce freeze without hurting the opponent's Pokémon. So that means you can't purposely freeze someone without damaging them first. Freeze clause is only truly enforced in Shoddy Battle.

Well firstly how would I know if they are not going to do it?They'll be banned already....

No pokemon online I clearly said this was a wifi DS match.
Well it's obvious u can't freeze anyone without a physical attack...no need to add it..

Quad means that Freeze Clause makes no sense unless you are using a simulator. There are no moves that will ONLY freeze a foe. You can never tell when Ice Beam or another move is going to freeze a foe, which makes it unpredictable. As a result, you may accidentally freeze two Pokemon, without ever WANTING to. Unlike Sleep, Freeze is completely uncontrollable, thus making Freeze Clause useless if it can't be controlled.

But either way, my singles team isn't ready yet, so I'm out.

Its ok, its just kind of common sense to what the battles will be like.
