After more than ten full months of sticking with the vBulletin default style, we finally have a new default one to call our own: Dark Illusionist. It is based on Zoroark, as you should be able to tell, and was designed by A'bom, with imagery work by yours truly. Many thanks also to OMGITSJAD and FreezeWarp for helping test out the new style and helping to clean it up. The theme is not fully complete, so expect minor changes as time passes.

In addition, a second new theme, also designed by A'bom, titled Quilava's Inferno, has been released. Many thanks to Buoysel for the banner image.

I hope you enjoy the new style. If not, or you prefer the old way, you can switch styles in the bottom left corner. The old style is called, aptly enough, vBulletin Default Style.

I approve it as a web-graphic designer. Theme is very nice.

This kind of took me by surprise when I refreshed this morning , but Dark Illusionist looks really cool. Same with the Quilava One. I'll be sticking with vBulletin default, though. Old habits die hard :V

Wow, they're both very nice! A'bom did a very good job on them. I seem to like Quilava's Inferno a bit more than Dark Illusionist, but I really do like them both.

Dark Illusionist > Quilava's Inferno IMO. It's only slightly better IMO but they're both really good. Nice job!

Anybody interested can also try a third style which I just added - the VictoryBattles default. It doesn't look great, really (...its very green), but I think some people may find it satisfying.

I'm glad you guys like the new skins! I don't often get to feel a sense of accomplishment like this. I can easily say that his is the most significant thing I've ever done with my free time.

I figured the zoroark skin would be preferred. The quilava one was actually just me messing around with the site's design sheet.

I love the Dark Illusionist. Great job! The banner in the other skin is nice as well, but I am not a fan of its color scheme.

Like most members over here, I prefer the "Dark Illusionist" theme much more than "Quilava's Inferno". Nevertheless, great job to all the people who were involved in making the themes, especially A'bom!

This is absolutely amazing! The banner looks great, as well as the logo. And more importantly, the new colour scheme has two of my three all-time favourite colours, Red and Black! (the other one`s blue, but I like black and red together more than blue individually)

You did a phenomenal job making this, kudos to you A`bom, Cat!

Dark Illusionist is very clean and professional. Its a dark theme that is not over bearing dark. I like it a lot.

Quilava's Inferno is another story. The banner is squished and poorly cropped... if you wanted to use it you could have asked me and I would have resized it and removed the background .... >.>

Also the colors don't "pop" or go together as well with it IMHO.

The Zoroark one is cooler, but the Quilava skin provides a lighter atmosphere.

Sorry about the Quilava banner, I thought I resized it right, but I obviously didn't take some transparent space into account or something...that'll be fixed later today.

You didn't lock aspect ratio, so it distorted the image. I have two images in the spoiler tag of my previous post if you want to use them or if you would like a different size let me know.

I love the Dark Illusionist style. The other style is alright but it takes awhile to get use of it. It's because I don't really like bright backgrounds and I preper dark backgrounds.

This is our main style now? I assumed it was just for Halloween.

I just noticed that "Quilava's Inferno" misses the slogan of the forums, which is: "Where The Legends Start". Is that on purpose, or was it only forgotten?

Is there a default master stylesheet for vBulletin, because I'm interested in maybe making a side layout for Zekrom

I have an question once you change can you even change back?

I like this themed layout, looks cool.

I change to the old one and I can't change back.

Go to the bottom of the page again and click the drop down box and choose a style.

It is gone.

In that case, go to User CP, click Edit Options and go right to the bottom. The last drop-down list there changes your theme. Choose what you want and click Save Changes.

(By the way, what skin were you using that didn't have the drop-down at the bottom? I just checked every skin and it's there on every one)

The one that is the orignal with White and Blue. It have the rumble Pokemon.
