Yep, I think everyone (or every Sonic fan) would know who that person is.

Anyways, to get this ending, you NEED ALL SEVEN CHAOS EMERALDS AND DEFEAT THE FINAL BOSS!

The bit with the silhouette scared the crap out of me when I first saw it (I finished the game today!)
