Hello, all. For my web design class, we're doing a recipe site.
I'm doing a sprite tutorial site instead (yes, it's allowed).
There's a gallery section and I would like to fill it up.
To do so, I will need your help.
Spriters of the forum, unite!
If anyone will be kind enough to let me use their sprite, please do.


I will need the following please:
[the sprite]
Name: (real or username)
Type of sprite: (ex; fusion, recolor, inferno)
Any other detail: (ex; Pokemon featured, etc)
Source: (a site to advertise/link back to)

I'll be grateful. You can also put fake names/sites if you want. This is just a small part of my entire site, but I would like it to be a little full to appear like an active site. :3 Thanks!

The Fangoose might not be the best example because all I did is recolor it and add Seviper's tail... but, It can't hurt, right..?

Thank you all. I don't know how many I'll be able to use, but I'd appreciate it if you had a transparent background. I'll be happy to do it myself, but I'll need your permission before I alter it, of course.

The easiest way is to color the white background to an eyesore color like lime green or hot pink, then upload it on Lunapic.com. Hover over Edit and go down to Transparent. Once on the new page, click the eyesore color. If all went well, you'll have the white/eyesore background gone! :3

You may want to test it a few times. For example, if you did a Grass type sprite and put a lime green background, some of the green in your sprite may disappear as well.

And yeah, then you use pink for the Grass types. xD Thanks for that, I should try it out.

Mine already have transparent backgrounds, so I don't have to worry about that.

Well, with mine being 8-bit sprites they only have four colors (I'm pretty sure I explained this in your sprite shop), including transparency. But with these being Pokémon sprites they use four colors in the sprite itself, forcing the background to be a color from the sprite (White). So yeah, technically the background should be there, but feel free to alter it if you wish!

Also, I have a few other devamps, but I think these are my best three. If you'd like the others, though, I'd happily put them up!
EDIT: Nah, I'll jsut stick them all in a spoiler. There's a revamp and an inferno for you, too!

Okay, that I just don't get. You accept them perfectly fine when he submitted them, and then when he tries to explain why they aren't transparent, you say never to post in any of your art threads again.

If the sprite was transparent, the background behind it would be black, but it's white. Game glitches can prove things about sprites.
