Well, some of the opening titles on the 3DS are just ports from the older consoles (such as Ocarina of Time 3D and Star Fox 64 3D). While I don't have too much of an issue with ports, Nintendo probably should've thought of some original ideas for the release of the 3DS.

I think these are only filler games, to hold us off until they release the better, more original games.

I think they use those games as a means of drawing people in who really weren't attracted to the 3DS. They're more likely nostalgic, and would like to see how well their N64 classic aged(And OoT 3D was AMAZING). So then they'd be sucked in and want to try out newer games, becoming a fan. But that's just my viewpoint.

What TurtwigX explained could be true, but in my opinion, I think they should have made entertaining, new games to be released with the 3DS. It could have made an exponential growth in sales and direct interest from users.

The reason why we're getting so many remakes is because it's easier and quicker for them to remake and game then start from scratch to make a new one.

How else is Nintendo going to get high quality games for the launch on short notice?
