I collect toys based around MARVEL and Transformers. I got into it a little bit more when the movies came out, but I'm not one of those extreme diehard people that take every single figure off the shelves. I'm also fond of my old Toy Story toys.
Also, LEGO is pretty sweet. I do prefer LEGO Technic, however. I mean, deep down, we all enjoy giant robots... don't we?

I also have around 180-200 Beanie Babies. Heard of them? They're pretty much stuffed animals, but since 2008 they have internet codes on them- like Webkinz (which I don't like). They've been around since 1993, and currently there's around 1200+ different ones, not counting re-releases, remakes, or specially-made Beanies.
If you get your hands on a Billionaire # (1-9) Beanie, consider yourself a billionaire. They're only given out to people that work for Ty, the company that makes Beanie Babies.
Also, there are many 'spinoff' series, like Halloweenie Beanies, based around Halloween; Basket Beanies for Easter; Jingle Beanies for Christmas; Punkies, with small, fuzzy spikes all over them; Beanie Buddies, which are Beanie Babies times 4; and Attic Treasures, made to look like the stuffed animals in the late 1800s-mid 1900s. I could go on and on, but I would bore you all.
I also collect Star Wars figures, but only for certain characters; General Grievous, Yoda, Ewoks, C-3PO, R2D2, and Chewbacca.

I have some small Pokémon toys with ball-bearings in them so they roll around the floor, and a Meowth and Togepi that say something whenever they hear anything.

I have a Yoshi and Mario toy from Burger King, and the Sonic games from McDonalds. Those have to be the best free toys of all time.
I also used to play with Hot Wheels cars. If my mom and I were at the store, and I was good, I got to pick out a Hot Wheels. Me and my friends used to trade them like trading cards.
