The Aether is basically the opposite of the Nether. You're in the sky and instead of Ghasts. You're shot by these cloud enemies called Zephrs. (Correct me if I mispelled that.) Along with several other mobs. It hasn't been released yet. But, I think you can play it with a mod. Anyway, sorry if you already knew all this from the wiki.
