Arena: The River Side - The arena is simple; there is a HUGE forest, in the middle of the forest there is a river. The forest is extremely heavly filled with bulky trees. You cant even get in the forest. The trees are so huge nd close together that it is impossible. so the only places you can be are the following.
-The 20 yards on either side of the river.
-In the sky.
-In the river.

Right out of the gate, Bessy wasted no time attempting to get Toxic up on her ball-like opponent. She created a ring of poison underneath her opponent, but just couldn't get the toxic to affect Arthroll.

Arthroll wasn't as hasty as Bessy, he decided it would be best to setup his defenses. He focused and made his body harden, making his skin act like tough armor. He was ready to take any physical hits thrown his way.
(Whirlpede: -4 Energy, DEF +2)

Missing that Toxic was quite frustrating to Bessy, and that heightened defense of Arthroll's wasn't helping her either. Best course of action, she decided, was to go special and use Ice Beam! She shot a focused beam of ice straight at Arthroll. This beam was more focused than others it seemed, as it hit with a ton of power behind it, and even froze Arthroll!
(Miltank: -6 Energy; Whirlpede: -10 HP, FROZEN for 5 turns)

Arthroll was helpless now, all he could do is wait for the ice to thaw so he could get back to battling. He gave Bessy an angry look while in the ice.

Executive decision time. Leave in a block of ice or switch out? Arthroll's trainer decided to pick the latter. Pulling out a Poké Ball, a red energy came out. It went around Whirlipede, and pulled him back in. The trainer puller another Ball out, releasing it's inhabitant. It was creamy and red, and appeared to know kung-fu. Bessy now wondered how she would approach this new opponent.
Whirlipede: Switched for Mienfoo

Either way, Miltank needed to beef up, so she meditated. Focusing on the other side of the field, she put herself in her opponent's shoes. Soon, she saw from Shao's point of view, and understood what she had done to her stats. Bessy pulled out of the meditation. The new opponent hadn't done anything to change her stats, so she couldn't do anything either...
Miltank: -2 Energy

Bessy steadily waited for an attack. Her opponent, however, was still just standing there, as if waiting for something to happen. Bessy took the initiative. Roaring with power, Bessy now had a red glow around her. It seemed to be different from the one that earlier enveloped Arthroll. It seemed to give Bessy power and protect her a little. However, it also seemed cumbersome to travel with, and it made her slower.
Miltank: -5 Energy, +1 ATK DEF, -1 SPD

Mienfoo's eyes suddenly opened. It was time. Putting her arms behind her, she channeled pure life force into her palms. Closing her eyes, she mentally locked on to Bessy. This wouldn't miss. The life force now became a solid object in the shape of a sphere. Shao fired it at Bessy. It seemed to have a mind of it's own, following Bessy's every frantic move. At the last second, Bessy jumped, and it missed - or did it? Circling back, it struck Bessy in the back, shoving her face in the grass.
