Battle Style: Single Battle, 3 Pokémon.
DQ Time: 7 days
Restrictions: No OHKO Moves, 2 Chills
Arena: Abandoned Mansion
Description: An abandoned mansion that everyone battles in. The spooky nature of this arena creeps out any non Ghost or Dark-types, giving them -1 ATK and DEF, whereas Ghost and Dark-types get +1 in these stats. There is a 5% chance during any turn that a Gastly comes out and scares all Pokémon on the field, lowering Energy by 3.
Damage Cap: 50
Ref: Open

ThePokeMan, as the challenger, you send your Pokemon out, but no moves.

Status: Uhh... a two-headed monster? ATK -1, DEF -1

Big was the first one up. He was still looking around at the creepy environment, but still managed to hear his trainer shout out orders. Big roared into the air, calling up a Hailstorm! Darkness was hardly moved by the attack, but felt the hail pelting down on him.
(Wailmer: -5 Energy)

Darkness gave off a creepy smile, almost as if he was certain he was going to win this. Small sparks surged off him. Big was very confused as to what this was. Just then, Darkness sent a wave of electricity towards Big, paralyzing him!
(Zweilous: -5 Energy due to Pressure; Wailmer: PARALYZED for 5 turns)

Big was ready to fight back. He had a strange feeling he was going to decimate Darkness with this next attack. He sucked him some air to prepare for Blizzard, but that strange feeling was really the Paralysis getting the best of him! He just couldn't get himself to move! He though he couldn't feel his body, he could feel the hail pelting him.
(Wailmer: Fully paralyzed, -6 HP from Hail)

Darkness knew how lucky he was there, and he wouldn't let this chance go to waste. He gathered his energy together, then released it in a the form of a dark ring, which went straight for Big!

Blizzard ~ Soak

Darkness was getting quite annoyed with the hail constantly pelting him, so he was more than happy when his trainer ordered the Sunny Day command. Just as Big did, Darkness yelled into the sky. The hail was gone, and sunlight shined brightly into the haunted mansion, making both of the Pokemon clearly visible to each other.
(Zweilous: -5 Energy due to Pressure)

Big was a little sad to see his Hail go and wasn't happy about the Sun shining through either. Either way, he had to take down Darkness, so he went for the Blizzard again, thankful for not being unable to move, and scored a direct hit on Darkness! Big felt very proud of himself, and he hoped his trainer felt the same way.
(Zweilous: -18 HP; Wailmer: -9 Energy)

Darkness didn't feel too good after that big hit from, well, Big! He wasn't scared though, he stood his ground against Big. In fact, Darkness went as far as to mess with Big by Taunting him. Big didn't take this too well. He was just furious at what Darkness did! So furious, that he couldn't even think about using the move his trainer just told him to use!

Alright, we gotta take this guy down, but we're already down quite a bit...hm...

It looks like we'll have to go bold or go home. Use Thunder Fang. If you manage to flinch him, or his move misses, then go with another Thunder Fang. Otherwise, use Protect to assure you don't get hit.

Let's let them have it with a Body Slam, Big! Then, use Double Team to confuse that beast. If you can't land the first attack for any reason, try it again!

Darkness was feeling the effects of this battle. He wasn't sure how much more he could take of this, but he had no choice but to keep fighting. He rushed forward as fast as he could, electricity coming from his mouth, then chomped down on Big! The Wailmer didn't take the hit well, but still managed to stay in the battle.
(Wailmer: -18 HP; Zweilous: -9 Energy due to Pressure)

Big was also feeling the effects of the battle, just as Darkness was, but Big wasn't detoured from his goal of winning. He rushed forward, headed straight towards Darkness with no intentions of stopping, even through Big's paralysis. Big threw his entire body into Darkness, knocking him over! Even though the attack wasn't that devastating, Darkness was slow to get up - he was paralyzed!
(Zweilous: -4HP, PARALYZED for 5 turns; Wailmer: -5 Energy)

Darkness needed to catch its breath, even if for a moment. He saw Big rushing forward again, so he focused his energy to create a barrier around him, protecting him from the next move.
(Zweilous: -8 Energy due to Pressure, Safe from next attack)

Big, just as before, rushed straight towards Darkness, even more determined than last attack. He jumped forward, ready to knock Darkness down yet again, but something was wrong. He was stopped just short of Darkness by a barrier that was near invisible.

Darkness had taken a lot of hits, but still felt like he could keep going. Even so, his trainer called him back and sent out Garbage in his place!

Big saw the big heap of garbage and wasn't even remotely intimidated, despite that fact Big had already taken a dangerous amount of hits. He took a deep breath in, getting ready to fire Ice Beam, but then a surge of electricity surged through Big's body and stopped him from attacking!
(Wailmer: Attack Failed)

With the sun shining brightly, Garbage decided to take advantage of it. He absorbed all the sunlight he could, even moving around the mansion to get the best patches of light, then focused all that sunlight into his hands. He brought his hands close to each other, and fired a Solarbeam straight at Big! Garbage scored a direct hit. Big was down, but it didn't look like he was getting back up.

Alright, that was a good start. Let's keep that up with Acid Spray. If it works successfully, then let's continue on that note with Sludge Bomb. Otherwise, use Focus Blast!

Super Fang ~ Roar

Garbage was the first to strike, being much faster than Chibi, despite being a walking pile of... well, garbage! He started gurgling something in his throat and the sound he made while doing so was enough to make Chibi gag a bit. Once Garbage was done gurgling the mystery liquid, he looked at Chibi and spat out the liquid straight towards Chibi. The liquid was nasty smelling and looked disgusting, but Chibi wasn't harmed too much. Chibi did feel a little funny though.
(Poochyena: -6HP, SP DEF -2; Garbodor: -2 Energy)

Chibi wasn't going to let the liquid get to him, despite it overloading his nostrils. He got ready to sprint forward towards Garbage, as much as he didn't want to. He sprinted, full speed, towards Garbage, showing his fangs and preparing to chomp down hard on the garbage pile. He jumped towards Garbage and tried biting him, but he somehow missed! He looked back at Garbage when he missed, wondering how in the world he missed such a large target as Garbage.
(Poochyena: Attack Missed, -6 Energy)

With Chibi just missing, Garbage felt very sure of himself. Just as he did with his last attack, Garbage started gurgling something, but instead collected the liquid in his mouth this time, rather than in his throat. This attack seemed like it was going to be nastier than the last, with all the sounds Garbage was making. He launched the glob of unknown mixtures right at Chibi, the glob seemed to be more disgusting than the last, and easily more dangerous, as Chibi hit the ground. Chibi got up smelling some very foul things.
(Poochyena: -16HP; Garbodor: -6 Energy)

Chibi had enough of Garbage already. He started growling at Garbage, but then it turned into a full blown Roar! This sound absolutely terrified Garbage. He turned around and managed to call himself back into his own Pokeball!

Chibi was a little confused to see the two-headed beast, but wasn't intimidated by him. He charged forward with showing his fangs that have turned an icy blue color. He leaped at Darkness and bit down with cold fangs, clearly hurting Darkness, but he was still standing.
(Zweilous: -9HP; Poochyena: -6 Energy)

Darkness was clearly in pain now, but wasn't done fighting yet. He looked at Chibi with a dark stare, as if sending dark thoughts to Chibi. The small pooch did not take well to this. He started thinking scary thoughts and couldn't manage to get them out of his head.
(Poochyena: TORMENTED until Zweilous is gone; Zweilous: -4 Energy)

With the scary thoughts in his head, Chibi couldn't focus too well. He heard the command to use Ice Fang twice, but just couldn't get those scary images out of his mind while Darkness was on the field. All he could do was stand in one spot in fear.
(Poochyena: Move Failed due to Torment)

With Chibi being too frightened to attack with the same move again, Darkness found a chance to attack. He grinned, then shouted straight up in the air. A few seconds passed and nothing seemed to have happened. All was quiet, but then the silence was suddenly broken when a meteor crashed through the mansion and hit Chibi! The meteor left a large hole in the mansion floor, leading to a flooded basement. Chibi didn't take the hit well at all. He was on the floor and couldn't move at all - he had fainted!

The tiny tadpole was eager to fight. He was hopping around full of energy waiting to get his first attack off. When he saw Athena, he prepared his attack. He gathered some water in his mouth, and started sweating for some reason. When he couldn't take it anymore, he released the boiling water in his mouth right at Athena, burning her! As accomplished as he felt, he still didn't feel to good. That was when he noticed he had been burned too!

Athena hated the feeling of being burned, so it felt good knowing Frogger had also been burned. She had some devilish thoughts brewing in her mind. Frogger seemed a bit curious as to know what Athena was thinking. As Athena looked at Frogger, she smirked. She then started mocking Frogger! Frogger didn't take this well. She started thinking about revenge.

Frogger hated the feel of the burn she currently had. It not only hurt, it irritated her to no end. She decided to use it her burn to advantage. She rushed towards Athena and started attacking her frantically! It definitely hurt her, but the burn didn't seem to help Frogger's attack in anyway.

Athena was growing weak from the fight. She had to protect herself in some way, but she knew she also had to keep attacking to win. She decided it would be best if she had something to lessen the blow of attacks. She collected her thoughts and created a near invisible barrier that could weaken the blow of special attacks.

Athena thought she felt pretty safe behind her Light Screen. Frogger wanted to prove otherwise. She started coughing up some gunk and collecting it in her mouth. Athena gagged a little watching Frogger do so. When Frogger's cheeks were full, she released all the gunk in one giant ball and it exploded right in Athena's face. However, the Light Screen did manage to help Athena take the hit.

While Frogger was trying to comprehend what just happened with her attack, Athena took the time to start preparing her attack. A small ball of electricity gathered between Athena's hands, filling Athena with power as she focused the electricity into a beam that was heading right for Frogger. Frogger hated the feeling of electricity surging through her body more than the irritating burn that she couldn't get rid of.

Athena, sorry to make you do this, but it looks like we have no choice. We'll just have to duke it out as much as possible! Use Thunderbolt, and hope for the best. If by some miraculous sort of luck that the Muddy Water misses, then use Shadow Sneak.

Muddy Water ~ Sludge Wave

Frogger could see that Athena was in a lot of pain and he wanted to end this battle quickly. He collected all the water he could and then made it a nasty mud color. He looked right at Athena and made a giant wave of mud and water. The blow was devastating, but somehow, Athena manage to live through the hit.

Athena was incredibly weak after that hit. She barely had enough strength to keep herself upright and battling. Even so, she managed to summon up enough strength to launch a powerful attack against Tympole. Just as she did with her last attack, she gathered the energy in her hands, but the energy this time looked much more furious than last time. She fired the powerful bolt of lightning directly at Tympole who had a harder time taking this hit than the last hit. When the attack was over, however, Athena collapsed from pain.

Garbage looked at the tiny tadpole Pokemon and couldn't help but let out a laugh, especially seeing how weak it was. Garbage gathered a small amount of energy in one hand and sent it flying towards Frogger; it had a strange purple aura around it. Frogger took the hit and fell over. She wasn't getting up, she had fainted.
