I got the idea for a Pokemon series based partially off Rick Riordan's Percy Jackson & The Olympians books as well as his Kane Chronicles books.

An ancient prophecy foretold that eight adolescent humans would inherit great power from Legendary Pokemon, in order to save humanity and Pokemon from a common enemy.

Now this prophecy is more real than ever. Arceus noticed from the heavens a terrorist/criminal organization called Team Rocket, was slowly gaining control over the many regions of the Pokemon World. Their leader, Giovanni, according to many followers of Arceus, must be killed in order for the ancient prophecy to be fulfilled.

Giovanni was a ruthless man, using propaganda to get his followers' support. He has had many innocent civilians brutally murdered, and enslaved numerous others. Arceus realized that Giovanni himself, was the common enemy.

This was when he lent eight teenagers each the power of their family's totem Legendary Pokemon.

Eric, of the Damon family, inherited the power of Zekrom.
Peggy, of the Owen family, inherited the power of Reshiram.
Gregor, of the Kowalski family, inherited the power of Dialga.
Kimiko, of the Akiyama family, inherited the power of Palkia.
Rob, of the McCain family, inherited the power of Groudon.
Lois, of the Cannady family, inherited the power of Kyogre.
Billy, of the Franklin family, inherited the power of Lugia.
Cleo, of the Petrov family, inherited the power of Ho-Oh.

More info coming.
