Despite what seemed to be an obvious speed difference, the bulky and heavy Miltank went first. She began to collect as much strength as her strong muscles would allow, and stored them within her arms. She was tense and destructive, and any attack from those bulky arms of hers would cause massive damage.

Motor was much less conservative about its moves and began to attack right off the bat. It formed an electric ball of energy, and made it more powerful by incorporating the plasma within its veins. The lack of speed in comparison to Bessy was a deterrent to the power of Electro Ball, but the move did its damage nonetheless.

Bessy began to flex her arms, as if ready to attack. Motor was prepared for something like this - it sneaked secretively around her and delivered a quick, yet effective punch. It caught Bessy off guard, but her powerful defenses allowed her to keep going, despite her shock.

Bessy now had Motor right where she wanted it. She aimed her right hoof right towards Motor's face. Motor snickered.
"Silly Bessy," it seemed to say,
"Don't you know Normal-type moves don't work on a Ghost-type like me?" He was totally surprised when, as soon as the punch reached his face, he felt a big rush of pain. All of the sudden, Motor lost all sense of where he was - Bessy snickered. Not only did she teach that pesky Rotom a lesson, she managed to knock the senses out of it and confuse it!
