in my opinion i really dont because you dont catch pokemon and run around beating gym leaders which is usually the main concept, you just run around beating other pokemon in an action RPG manner. come on gamefreak give us a turn based pokemon game. D: what to you think?

I actually do. It is part of the 5th Gen Side Series. Just like Pokemon Pinball: Ruby and Sapphire is a "pokemon" game but it is still a Generation 3 Side Game.

I would consider it a Pokemon game. When you think about it, it is based around Pokemon, and it is a video game.
Put two and two together and you got a Pokemon game. ;>

And just because it doesn't follow the traditional format of the Pokemon games, it's still a game, just a spin off taking a different approach; just like Dash, Trozei, and Pinball.

It is a Pokémon game, no matter how much we debate about it. It is not like the typical traditional games, but there is the Ranger series and the PMD series which also don't follow the traditional style. You might not like them, but you can't deny their existence.

If the Pokémon company always produced games which followed the 'traditional format', things would've becoming repetitive and boring. Spin-off titles like Pokémon Rumble Blast are needed to introduce new concepts which might become popular among the fans. They're more risky than main titles, but they should still be considered actual Pokémon games as everyone else stated over here.

Easy to say, it has pokemon, so it's a pokemon game.

It's a game, it has Pokemon. Therefore, it must be a Pokemon game.

Even fan-made hacks of Super Mario World that have Pokemon in it to replace Mario, Bowser, and Peach could be considered to be a Pokemon game.

Just remember that even though a game that has Pokemon in it doesn't follow the "traditional style" of Pokemon, it doesn't mean it isn't a Pokemon game.
