What are the root of all evil in online games? High score? Money? Level?
What amplify the evil? Online?

I'd personally say money and level in any kind of MMORPG and high score in those Flash games with high score tables. Even more so when any of these translate into real-world prizes like cash, iPods, laptops, and clothing.

Do you mean evil as in what makes them so addicting? Cause if that's the case it depends on the MMO I think but generally I'd say it's....

1. Level and gear (to feel the satisfaction of pwning other players after customizing yourself)
2. Getting to have fun with your friends (either real life or online ones) and rofl @ the game together, but where this ranks really depends on how social you are
3. Muniez
4. Showing off stuffz (including high scores)
5. Needing to pass the time

That's just my opinion though lol for console games I'd say what people look for the most is a good story, loveable characters, pretty graphics and awesome weapons/vehicles xD but hey, as long as you know how to avoid getting too sucked into the evilness at least playing games keeps most people from doing drugs and all that crap lol

In most cases, it is better than doing drugs, but I've heard some horror stories on the news, including stabbings, beatings, and even murder trials over in-game raids and account repossession.

MMORPG requires time and money
MMORPG = Time × Money

and time is money
Time = Money
MMORPG = Money[sup:39xx9j90]2[/sup:39xx9j90]

Money is root of all evil
Money = sqrt(Evil)
MMORPG = sqrt(Evil) × sqrt(Evil)
MMORPG = (sqrt(Evil))[sup:39xx9j90]2[/sup:39xx9j90]

Therefore, MMORPG is evil
MMORPG = Evil

Microtransactions are, in my experience, the most deadly thing to the well-being of an MMO. Economic class lines don't need to extend over even into video games.
