For those of you who have seen the Super Mario Brothers Super Show should be very familiar with that name. For those of you who don't, Lou Albano was the original voice for Mario in his first cartoon series. He also acted as Mario for the intro, outro (which is the famous Do the Mario!) and the live segment sketches. In addition he was also a well-known wrestler. Today he has passed away. RIP one of the best video game voice actors.

I think he deserves a round of Taps played in his honor.

I remember watching the show back when it was still on, I even bought the DVD sets.
He's the true Mario in my book, he will be missed.
