FF9 was awesome, but then again, no one can ever forget the epic-ness of FF7 and Crisis Core. Damn! Too many good games @_@

Heh...The only FF game that I have is Crisis Core which is a AWESOME game. I hate the Crystal Chronicle series. That series always seems unneeded.

I think Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep(another forum) is gonna have to try REALLY HARD to beat Crisis Core. Crisis Core is in 1st place so far for me since it's my first PSP game that and I'm a HUGH Kingdom Hearts fan.

My favorite are FF7 and FF10...
Mostly because they are really the only ones i have played

Wait, does Dissidia count? cause if so, then that is number 2 (FF7 being number 1)

I'm surprised, really. X-2 was terrible overall. I'd really rather play the FF7 spinoffs, which would mean spoiling my taste. I'll understand if FF7 and the later games are loved, but all the extras dragged down their quality.

As far as mainstream goes, FF4-6 are my favorites, and with how Squeenix is going with eight and up, I don't doubt they'll be my favorites forever. Four really is the greatest of the three overall (remake was horrible. Much too easy), while five just felt like a true FF game (plus their music is too good. Neo Exdeath <3). Kefka is the biggest reason for six. Attaining god-status through redecoration? I don't know a villain from any game that could top that.

I suppose that aside from the mainstream, FFT wins, although my love for tactical games is probably to blame. The remake actually looks better than the original, for once. Balthier <3

All the villains becomes Gods in the end. Not just Kefka. Funny thing is a lot of people rant about how superior Kefka is compared to all the other villains yet he's by far the weakest one in the series. Look at Garland from FFI he created an endless time loop, Emperor was killed halfway through FFII but he returned and took over Hell in a demonic God type form, Cloud of Darkness from FFIII she's the Void so in a way you could say she's the Goddess of Nothingness.

I guess i'll stop there....your probably bored of this reply already.

Well, naturally. But truth be told, I never had any love for two or three, especially two (stupid stat system D. On top of that, I'm recalling the others I've played, and it was only Chaos and Kefka. The rest of them simply obtained (or already had, *coughUltimeciacough*) power.

All of the quoted bit and especially the bolded bit
Yeah I liked FF5 the best, 4 and 6 were also good, 7 is overhyped... and 8+ and 1-3 I haven't played...

My favorites are FFVIII, FFX, and if we could count side games FFX-2, and Dirge of Cerberus are on top with them.

7 to me is so overrated and not having played 3-5 I can't really form opinion on them.

I hold high hopes that XIII will be amongst my top 5 FF games

So true. Some people brought the Japanese one to the barlw tournament last month. I was lookin' at it, and...it didn't look too special.

I bet FF1 and 3, and played ten minutes of 2 before I closed the emulator in frustration. One was pretty good for an early game, but whether it's because it was the first or not really bothers me. Two is probably okay, but the stat system pisses me off. Three was boring and easy. D:
