Now there's news that GF is looking for people with experience with 3D design so its pretty clear that it might be on Wii now.

Never mind that game for wii will be a hey you pikachu like game (Catman knows this is a fail)

While it does indeed seem like it will be another "virtual friend Pikachu" game, this doesn't necessarily mean that they aren't making gen 5 on the Wii. They have probably been working on this for a while. I can wait for more details to be released instead of jumping to conclusions.

Well, Hey You, Pikachu! was terribly annoying and Pokémon Channel was too short and put too much emphasis on the TV. Hopefully this Pikasim does it right. Yoshi brought up a good point that it might use WiiSpeak so you can curse at Pikachu again. But if they do that, the cursing better not be because Pikachu won't listen.
