Now I am starting to believe I'm doing something wrong. I would like to know just what, though. The current site has been built on for three years and the current stage has been up for a few months. However, even with all the constant updates and whatnot, there is still something I'm doing wrong.

Maybe it's my site's lack of a lot of game information or news? Perhaps people crave the constant "new this, new that" the other sites like Serebii and Bulbanews provide, or the standalone forum PokéCommunity. If this is the case, with details could someone explain how to fix it?

If that's not the case, what do you think is? I doubt it has anything to do with advertising and I somewhat doubt it's my site's layout.

I think the fact that people use the forum more then the actual site is why you think you're doing something wrong.

Actually, I've got it. I do believe it is game news. I'm currently re-designing the home page and setting up another board. On that board, anyone can post an article about news in the Pokémon world, video games, Mario, and whatnot. The main page will reflect the post, complete with the author (just like the News and Announcements boards are now.

I've added that to the front page. As long as people actually post news there, I think it may seriously help the site. I'm also thinking of fixing up my site's color scheme.
