So I'm a big fan of spyro and only recently I realized I've been way behind on the series, I haven't played the last four or five spyro games that've been released. So I decided to rent and start playing them via blockbuster online. And I started with heros tail. I've beat the game but didn't manage to gather all the collectables. So I've been going through and getting the rest of them.

On my revisit to each realm, when I got to the icy one and got to frostbite village I couldn't get one of the light gems. It's the one in the farthest southeast corner of the frostbite village map. It's in the room with the thing spitting out giant snowballs and the floating platforms. Now apparently the only way to reach the gem is to ride the ROTATING floating platforms up to the gem. Just one problem...they aren't rotating around the center mountain thing. Now I checked around the Internet and read that they're supposed to start rotating when you destroy the dark gem in that room, which I did, a long time before in the game. I fear that the programmers might not have put code in that kept the platforms orbiting afterwards just incase idiots such as myself aren't paying attention and have to return later on.

This may not be the case but I don't know. I didn't make the game.
Does anyone know how to fix this?!? I really need to collect everything!!! O_o
