I noticed a few new ways to search on google.
Voice seaching lets you dictate what you want to search (People with spelling problems I guess?), you can now upload an image to start an image search for related images (I've been waiting for this for so long, and it works pretty well so far), google maps has yet another fovorites place for locations (Thought they had enough of those), and that seems to be about it.
what do you guys think about it?
My Mum's android has voice searching and Google Goggles (Image searching), and I've played around with them a bit. Voice searches work really well for the most part, but it does screw up if you're not very clear. Image searching doesn't work too well from what I've tried, it'll pick up text and logos and landmarks, but anything beige will come up with half-naked people most of the time. Either way I'm faster typing anyways. I couldn't care less for Google Maps right now.
I decided to play around with the image search for a while, and it's surprisingly good. It recognizes things like logos, text, and image macros, and it only went wrong when I put a Pokemon wallpaper in and it searched for "star wars." (not to mention that the Mega Man X logo makes it search for "megaman x zero") I haven't played with the voice search yet, but I'd assume it'd be about as good as the Nexus One thing since Google made that.
