Well, it's here. I'm sadly not in LA to be seeing any of it happen, but thanks to the generous bandwidth at my school, I've been following G4's live stream for the latter part of EA's press conference.

Far as things that stuck out to me, I was already looking forward to Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and Skyrim, but I was surprised to see Insomniac starting up a new series. Overstrike looks like a bucket of fun, and that's coming from a guy who doesn't even like shooters. What do you all think of the releases so far?

Mass Effect 3 FTW. I hope Tali is part of the squad again.

Dead Island is probably going to be disappointing. Most likely Dead Rising ripoff.

Skyrim's going to be awesome. I've seen some previews of its world lighting system and it looks beautiful.

Halo 4? Dear mother of God LET IT DIE ALREADY.

It looks like Minecraft is going to have a booth... Why?

Happy Feet Two... people actually CARED about that movie? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE?

Maybe Soul Calibur V will be ported to PC. Probably not.

The rest of the 3DS stuff looks cool too. WiiU is certainly an amazing concept but I won't be extremely hyped until I see more.
