For those of you with a Wii and wireless internet, you can now download the Internet Channel for free! It also includes an updated version of Flash. For those of you who already got it, you will get 500 points to use for a NES Virtual Console game.

Update: For those of you who have payed for the Internet Channel you should now be able to download your free 500 point NES game from the Virtual Console.

I downloaded the update. I noticed the MP3 player on my site works, but one song plays too slowly. The YouTube annotations still don't show and videos are still only available in low quality. The Newgrounds Audio Portal player doesn't work still.

Nintendo will let you download the NES game for free sometime during October-November.

That sucks, now I have to wait two months for SMB 3. (no, I never got it. I have played it though.)

In all cases...Wooh! Now we have to wait for the DSi to support YouTube in its entirety!

Are you sure it is your TV and not just the fact you aren't zooming in and out?

It's kinda stupid that we can only download an NES game instead of just getting 500 Wii Points.
No Phantasy Star for me. I shouldn't have read that email.

I got the message yesterday. However, because it expires at the end of this year, I'll probably wait until I update to 4.2.

I got SMB 3 as my offer for the update.

I dunno why they didn't include WiiWare titles that are 500 points, although I can probably imagine there aren't any of those. I think the lowest is 700 or somethin'.
