A new online game is to be made playable on Pokemon.com once the Global Link and Dream World are running one again. The game in question, "Play to Befriend a Pokémon", is a brick-breaking game that, upon completion, allows for one of the seven Eeveelutions to be downloaded from the Dream World with their respective Dream World ability, all seven of which are listed below:

Jolteon: Quick Feet
Vaporeon: Hydration
Flareon: Guts
Umbreon: Inner Focus
Espeon: Magic Bounce
Glaceon: Ice Body
Leafeon: Chlorophyll

Players may only choose one of the Pokémon to download, which will be marked on their Trainer Club account until it is downloaded. The actual date of re-opening for the Dream World and Global Link is, as of yet, still unknown.

From a competitive battling aspect, Hydration and Magic Bounce are the most viable of those abilities, so I would personally advise downloading either Vaporeon or Espeon (despite the fact that my favourite Eeveelution is Umbreon, which I would totally get if it's Hidden Ability wasn't totally useless). I think it's nice to have the Dream World connected to Pokemon.com with Pokémon as prizes, not only does it show just have far the Pokémon Company has advanced in terms of distributions, but also because if gives people an actual reason to go there xD

Whoa that's cool! I still need to do that with my Japanese copy... I think I'm going to get Espeon, even though Jolteon is my favourite. :3

I'm a bit disappointed that we don't have something like Pokémon Labyrinth - That was a really fun game, I spent hours trying to befriend all the Pokémon...

I believe that Vaporeon is the most useful, but since Umbreon is my favorite, I will be choosing it, as I am not really bothered with competitive battling for the time being.

EDIT: I finally got an Umbreon.

I love Leafeon and all, but I will be going for Vaporeon. I wanna win some online battles. Unfortunately, it is easy to get. If I was going for the hard ones so I can fill up the dex easiest I would of gone with Espeon.

I don't know which Eeveelution I'll be going for, since I Vaporeon is the most useful but Espeon is my personal favourite out of them all. I'l make a final decision later, though.

This is fantastic news. Now that Vaporeon will officially be released, Hydration Vaporeon will be a legal ability for it! Is it known if you can SR to get one wit ha specific nature, or is that data not out yet?

I got a Leafeon. It should do well in a Sunny Day team.

Well, I will be getting an espeon. That is, as soon as I figure out how to use the dream world. I haven't got on it yet.

Well, I just beat the fourth level and Vaporeon has found its way into my trainer profile!

Brick Break is tough when you have to avoid all of the other Eeveelution Orbs falling from bricks. .-.

I already got a Vaporeon in the Japanese one, so I'm going for an Espeon with this one.

I got my Espeon. But when will we actually be able to get it? I heard it's being delayed further.

I got Glaceon and figured out how it works. I believe it gives you a random choice of all Eeveelutions for which you collected the most icons for. (Say you got four Umbreon ones and four Jolteon ones, and three or less of everything else; it'd randomly give you Umbreon or Jolteon.)

Haven't got mine yet, but can I ask, say if I got Espeon, would I be able to breed the ability onto another Eevee, but then evolve into something else?

EDIT: Got Espeon, and I know it has to be female.

I am unsure which one to get.

Just got vapereon. It was so hard to get.
