Why does my money always stays at 5000? I have 5000 and after I sold two stones at 2500 each, I still have 5000. Can someone help me?

Edit: Oh, and no matter how much money I have, it always shows at the PokeMart that I have only 5000. And, after I buy something, the 5000 along with the other money will disappear. Thanks to whoever that helped me.

I managed to have 7500, and I sold a stone, and it took me to 5000. Help, much?
