It's been awhile since I posted on VR... I kinda miss this place. But, getting on topics I was wondering what type of team I should have for Heart Gold. I want my starter to be Cyndaquil. So all I need is a Water, Grass, Electric, Flying type to go with my team. The sixth PKMN could be a random type.

I'm not asking people to tell me what their team is. I'm asking members if they have any ideas on what type of Pokemon I should have in Heart Gold..

You mean a team idea for you....well what kind of pokemon do you like, type wise? Fire, Ice, grass? Do you want a balanced team or a team used for battling people online?

EDIT: Well, Garaydos, Meganuim, Amphros, Arcanine, [insert a pokemon here], and Pigeot. Is that any good?

Pretty much both I guess. I want a team that will do well during the game and also on online. As I said I want to start out with Cyndaquil and I need an Electric, Water, Grass, Flying type and sixth pkmn I really don't care what type it is.

I would suggest a Ground type for your last spot. Onix/Steelix is amazing, or you could kill 2 birds with one stone by using Quagsire since you'll have both Ground and Water covered.

The games are easy enough you don't really need a balanced team or whatever I'm trying a monotype water team on Soul Silver. Trying to avoid OU pokes too. As for my team so far: Quaqsire, Slowpoke, Tentacool, Eevee, Croconaw. You should try and go all fire starting with your cyndaquil that might be harder though cause there are fewer fire types. just an idea

I thought about Typloshion, Jolteon, Crobat and Quaq(mire). I need a grass and flying type though.
