I have an ISO of DOS 7.1 (Free abandonware) and the size is only 9 MB. I don't want to waste 691 MB of a CD, so is there anything else I can burn this to?

I would personally use a flash drive (as I often do for that sorta thing).

Get a CD-RW, so you can wipe the disk after installing DOS.

Floppy disks! For a real suggestion, I would try the CD-RW suggestion that Apple made.

I was going through my CD things trying to find my Xubuntu CD, and apparently I already burned this to a CD months ago.

I has a facepalm.
