After a while of clicking the same two buttons, it occurred to me that the motion is a lot like swinging a pickaxe, back and forth. Moving pointless rocks out of the way, always hitting the same spot, perhaps hitting a different spot if one catches your eye before going back to your routine. You don't want all these pointless rocks, all you want is a shiny one, one that has value, either for you to keep or for you to trade for other ones. Perhaps you'll find something rarer than a shiny one. It's boring work, but you keep at it because you know that at any moment, you could find something valuable, and then all that time wouldn't be wasted, but if you give up, you'll miss it....

Anyone remember how much more personal Floatzel Adopts were?

Ah, those were the days.

ALL I WANT IS A FREAKIN' NEW POKEMON.

My first plan was to have one of every Pokemon, like on my Diamond. Yeah, that's not turning out like I wanted. I want at least one of every species now. It'll take forever... Oh well.

Floatzel adopts were much more personal, that's why I only had three or so. Now I have 40+ pages of VB adopts. And I only love a few of them.

I never play Floatzel Adopts before, but I agree what you said about Victory battles. At first I thought I would collect all the Pokemon, but that's impossible. Most of the Pokemon I own are the ones I cared.

This is one of the facts why I am against the new adopting idea. It's like Freeze wants us to have 9000 Pikachus.
That's why I don't even bother adopting.

Total Pokedoptables: > 10000
Pokedoptables I ever displayed: < 40

Yeah, something's definitely wrong with that. :I

Periodically release everything except the highest level pokemon, excluding shinies and you won't have a million pokemon sitting on your account that you'll never use.

Make it easier to release Pokémon in their masses and you got it.

For VB you need to get lucky. I think we should get a free starter when starting VB like the game.

'Course, if you have any more suggestions, I'm all ears (metaphorically of 'course).
