I'm making a support thread for this because I'm sure some people are going to be curious why they no longer have the ability to either their own posts after a certain amount of time.

I just set it so that you can no longer edit a post that is more than two weeks old. I know there are gym leaders, sprite shop owners, and such who do this, so this might not work as best as I hope. For now, if you need to edit a post that is older than 14 days, please ask a staff member who has the ability to moderate that section to do so for you.

If this doesn't work, I'll probably change it to 6 months or so.

What JAD said...

Anyways, I don't know how good this will work for me, owning a sprite shop and all. But, oh well...

I had actually thought that this was some sort of sarcastic tutorial on teaching new users on how to edit posts, seeing as how double posting isn't that uncommon.

I second Jad's question. Why the lock-ish on post editing?

(btw, for those actually reading the thread thinking there's some information on How To Edit Posts, there's a big ol' button at the bottom of any post made by you (mods see this button on every post within boards they moderate) that says EDIT. It's right next to the Quote button.)

I have undone the change due to general dislike. The original purpose was so users couldn't change the flow of older threads they had posted in long ago as sabotage.

*locks thread*
