Pokémon General → Diamond Dust in Pokemon B/W?

Today is December 31st. I went to Sekka City today, and there was Diamond Dust falling! Did anybody else notice? The Diamond Dust is also falling in front of Dragon Spiral Tower, where I battled a wild Pokemon and it was not registered as Hail, so I know it's not hail. (But it only fell for a fleeting second; once the battle was over, snow began to fall like normal, until I returned to Sekka City, and diamond dust started falling again)

I didn't play today... So I didn't notice.

It's cool that they kept the easter egg, it was subtle but cool. (:
