In case you didn't know (and you probably don't), the Incredible Machine is an old PC game from around the time of MS-DOS. It was a game where you used certain objects available to complete puzzles. From shooting hoops, to rescuing mice from cats, to setting off fireworks, this game was actually pretty fun. It also had a sandbox editor.
So discuss the game here, if you've ever heard of it. I think my dad actually has an original floppy disk of it somewhere in this house...
1 – TheAppleFreakOh god, I loved that game. I spent hours upon hours trying to figure out those puzzles, and it was so fun.
I think if I can find it, I'll buy a copy of it for my brother. He's never played it, but I think he'd like it.
EDIT: Realized that you were talking about a specific game and not the sequels. I used to play Return Of The Incredible Machine. But yeah, sandbox mode was awesome.
I haven't played the original, but I did use to play The Even More Incredible Machine. It's wacky fun, but the game runs so fast, it's hard to see what's going on. I loved the sandbox mode; it's what I spent 98% of the game doing.
