If you'd rather not have me coming to your house to give you cookies next week (Though I'm not sure why you'd want to turn down that offer), you can simply put the marker in the middle of your town, down the street, or some landmark that's near you.

Be sure to put your name on the point and a small message.


Also please check back once in a while in case someone accidentally moves yours.

Kind of a shame a former user decided to be a ****and move a majority of everyone's location to Antarctica.

Incidentally, I have updated my location to reflect where I live now.

Seeing as how locations have been moved to North Korea, it's clear to me no one is going to take this thread seriously. Which is sad, because it was a fun and unique little project that the entire forum could participate in.

I have a better idea: just post a city, coordinates, or whatever you feel comfortable sharing instead. (Be careful with addresses!) The map is too easy to break.

We could have another google maps thing but only the creator is allowed to place people (I'm pretty sure there's an option that allows for that), and the placements would be based on the locations members provide. I haven't learned how to maintain one though so I'm not certain if that's possible.

If we did that, I'd be the one running it. I dunno, do we even need a map anymore?

Is it possible to have the map editable by only a certain number of people at a time? Maybe make it so a person can just change their location one day only, then lock them out from any further changes to the map?

If we redo the map, I think I'll just do it where only I can add icons to the map, and everyone can post how specific they want their location on it. And don't PM me a location, because people will see it on the map anyway.
