I've heard that these games are very fun, but I have not took the time to actually try them out yet. Have you played them? Do you like them?

They are great games (i've played every mystery dungeon game) but they get boring once you get into the post ending

I've played PMD Blue version, Explorers of Time, Explorers of Darkness and Explorers of Sky I personally think they were all amazing games, although I don't recommend Explorers of Sky, it's pretty much a worse version of Time/Darkness, but not by much. PMD Blue version is a classic and it's really fun to play and there is a wide variety of Pokemon you can get (except Sinnoh, they weren't made).

Don't look unless you want a spoiler (I recommend you look)
Blue version is good because unlike Time/Darkness/Sky you can evolve your main character and your partner. That doesn't really matter if you like first forms but it can get quite annoying when you're so weak yet you're a higher level than your opponent.

Time was by far my favourite (only reason I'm not saying Darkness too is because it was my sister's and I wasn't able to play it all the way through, but remember they're almost the exact same). It had so many wonderful surprises and all these different ways to keep you entertained.

I've played PMD Blue and Sky, and they're awsome games. The only thing is it gets somewhat boring when you finish everything, but they're exellent anyway. And I love the fact unevolved Pokemon are stonger here than in the main games.

I personally think sky is the best. it is the exact same thing as time and darkness, but there is more stuff in the post ending to make it more interesting.

I agree with 11Trident11, I think Explorers of the Sky is the best byfar and you can evolve your starter in that game, you just have to beat everything there possibly is to beat in the game, like beating Palkia, Darkrai, Heatran, Giratina, etc.

I played Blue and Explorers of Time, both quite awesome. Still, I probably won't continue the series since it really doesn't seem to be evolving. I like the other two, but they will perhaps be the end of it.

how to evolve in mystery dungeon
to evolve in sky/darkness/sky you just need to recruit palkia and go to the spring. same for red and blue rescue team just instead of palkia you complete the game.

I love playing pokemon mystery dungeon but I only play Time. The story is amazing with twists and it's fun to explore the dungeons. It gets a little boring after you finish everything including the post ending but if you use the wifi to communicate other players, you can use it to recuse and exchange items. I never use it before since I don't know anyone have Time/Darkness.

I played Explorers of Time, and the starters do evolve actually. The storyline is nice and long, but it gets boring as you finish it. Nevertheless, you can recruit legendary Pokémon once you re done with the story.

I only tried one Pokémon Mystery Dungeon game, and I think it was Explorers of Time. To be honest, I did not really like the gameplay and the style of the games; I don't know why exactly, but I guess it's because they're different from the main series games.

YES

That's all I can think to say. I also name every partner after a crush I have. Try Blue/Red rescue team first. Both have great soundtracks, too. I also made a video on the series.

I've played Time and Sky, and I love them both. I have to agree with 11Trident11 and [TRDRS]PokeTrader, I thought that sky was better than Time.

I have... played the earlier ones. RED is what I had, and I had a nice time at it too. But, IMO, they are rather poorly designed games, in that it takes way too long leveling up. Though I did enjoy using I think it was... Chikorita? For an entire game, rather than just at first. Chikorita > its evolutions.

I played Blue and Darkness. After that, I honestly got bored of them. Just not my type of game I suppose.

Yep! I own Red, Time, and Sky! I really like playing the games and the story has actually made me cry before! Pretty much every fanfic that I have thought of/written came from these games.

I usually play the Mystery Dungeon games, but passing that quiz at the beginning of the game to get your Pokemon is really annoying...

I lost all of my DS games, but I bought Explorers of the Sky again.

I played some of Red Mystery Dungeon. Can't say I enjoyed it. Concept was cool, but I didn't have the patience to put up with playing through all of it. I only got through like two places and got bored. My sister loves the games though.

I've only ever played the Ranger side games. I've been meaning to try out the Mystery Dungeon games, but I'm not exactly sure what they are? Could someone summarize the gist of it?

I've played the heck out of Blue (80+ hours), Darkness (150+ hours) and some of Sky (~40 hours). It's a really fun pokemon series, combining Pokemon with rogue-like gameplay.

I've only played Blue, but it was pretty fun. But I will say this - doing all the small quests just to get your rank up was very annoying.

I've played the first one. I was surprised how Mewtwo's dungeon had 99 floors.

My blue time says 39 hours. Even after I beat it I play it like 5 hours a day.

Yes, I play the Mystery Dungeon games! I didn't like the first ones, but I love Darkness/Time/Sky! I only got my starters to level 100 in Time, though. I only got to 80 before I restarted Darkness two times (second time was mainly for experimenting with Action Replay, I got to level 100 through codes so that doesn't count) and I mainly use a bunch of different guys in Sky.. usually my Eeveelutions and Shaymin.

I've unlocked all the Dungeons and cleared Destiny Tower twice in Sky. I've beaten all of the extra stories too, my favorites have to be Wigglytuff's backstory, Team Charm's, and the last one with all the future Pokemon. Man I love these games. They have my favorite music from the any of the games too.

I played Red Rescue Team for hours when I got it, I really liked it. However, when the sequels came out, I wasn't so enthusiastic, I only got around half way through the Explorers of Darkness story before trading it in. I don't know why, I guess I just found it a bit repetitive...
