When you start a game there are 3 pipes that function as save points. How can I save a game to them? I completed two levels of zone 2 (water and some other) and I want to save it there.

Wait, which Mario game are you talking about? I can't recall any off the top of my head that had 'save pipes'...
E: Oh, I get it. You mean Super Mario Bros. 1. You can't save in that game without Virtual Console, the Deluxe edition for GBC, The All-Stars edition for SNES, or an emulator.
