It is essentially a folder containing a ton of components needed for your computer to run properly.

This is why when it is deleted, your computer dies. It has no access to the necessary things for your computer or it's programs to run.

Oh, and I forgot to mention, if you delete it, you have a 1/2 chance of your computer not dying and it actually gains 5000% more power! So, if you want, try to get that lucky deletion!

1) More recent OS's make it so you can't delete system32 easily, so it's idiot-proof now.
2) It's a joke originating from *****...you expect it to be nice?
3) Locking since the question was answered.

Technomancer editorial.

System32 is integral on every Microsoft OS... >.>; Making it an incredible weakness. It's relatively simple to find, easily removed/edited/deleted, and restoring it requires a factory disk or reformat, both of which bring cost to the owner.

Luckily, Linux has no such weakness, if you prevent such weakness' from being exposed... ^.^

Killing it provides no gain for your machine. Take it from the Technomancer kids: Deleting System32 is simply the most expensive way to upgrade to a new OS. :V
