I just got spore working (after one whole year) not so long ago and so far I think it is a great game. Please discuss about the game here. If you are thinking about getting it I recomend it. Although expect a few problems when you first get it.

I like Spore, but its gameplay in the Creature, Tribal, and Civilization stages isn't too fun. It's okay the first time, but playing through them again to get a certain archetype is just monotonous. And I really wish the hologram walker thing were actually useful. Why can't I just land and walk around? :/
Check out Derp and Herp; they're the best creatures ever made.

I would have to agree that some of those stages are boring, then again I like the tribal and civilization stages mainly because I'm an RTS person.

Also, Trying to re-create Pokemon without creature creator does not turn out well.

I've gotten Spore Origins for the iPod and it turns out it was the greatest iPod game ever. The only thing is to create new Spores you have to re-do the Eveloution mode. And the last level's the hardest level ever created in any video game. (Well, OK. That was a little overboard, but you get what I mean, right?)
